BONKED! is made by noskills.studio. This page covers what we collect on bonked.games and in the BONKED! game itself, and what we do with it. We've tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate — if anything is unclear, email us at [email protected].
What we collect on this website
The only data collection point on bonked.games right now is the playtester waitlist form. If you submit it, we store:
- Your email address (required)
- Your name, if you give one (optional)
- Your platform preference — Windows, Mac, Linux, or Steam Deck (optional)
- Which animal you picked (optional, and yes, we do read these)
- Any message you add (optional)
We use this to invite you to playtesting, send launch updates, and occasionally follow up on feedback. We don't sell it, rent it, or hand it to advertisers. We don't currently run any third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
Where it's stored
Waitlist entries live in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway, alongside the infrastructure that runs this site. We keep entries until testing wraps up or launch happens, whichever is later — after that, we clean out data that's no longer needed.
What we collect in the game
BONKED! doesn't currently have accounts, sign-in, or a persistent online profile. Local progress (streaks, unlocks, settings) is saved on your own device. Online co-op rooms exchange gameplay data (calls, positions, chat if you use voice chat) with other players in your session to make multiplayer work, but this isn't stored beyond the session. If that changes — for example, if we add accounts or leaderboards ahead of the Steam release — we'll update this policy before it ships.
Who it's shared with
We don't share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. It may pass through infrastructure providers that host the site and database (currently Railway) purely to keep the service running — they don't get to use it for anything else.
Children's privacy
BONKED! is made for an adult audience. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email [email protected] and we'll remove it.
Your choices
Want out of the waitlist? Use the self-serve delete your datapage and it's gone immediately. Want to see what we have on file instead? Email [email protected] and we'll send it over.
Changes
If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be called out to anyone on the waitlist.
